anumberof后面接复数还是单数

A number of后面接可数名词的复数形式，不可接不可数名词，其意思是若干、一些、许多，当其加名词作主语时，其谓动词也要用复数形式，例如“A number of students are sick today”，意思是今天有一些学生病了。注意区分the number of，其意思是某物的数量，谓动词用单数。
