besides

besides except区别是用法不同。besides 表示一种累加关系，意指除了什么之外，还有…；而except则表示一种排除关系，意指除了什么之外，不再有…。

例句：Besideshiswife,hisdaughter also went to seehim.除他妻子外，他女儿也去看过他。You can park anywhere except here. 只有这里不能停车。All the students go to park, except John. 除了约翰以外，所有的学生都去公园了。
