AlthoughMagellandidn’tlivetocelebrate,heisrememberedtodayastheleaderofthefirstaround-the-worldjourneyinhistory.Magellan’svoyagenotonlyprovedthattheworldwasround,butalsothatitwaspossibletosailallthewayaroundit.ManypeoplebelievethatMagellan’svoyagewasthemostremarkableinhistory.
